The Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana procures, sorts, inventories and provides food to over 70 partner agencies for distribution into their local communities. In addition, the Food Bank operates three programs that directly provide food to those most vulnerable – our children and seniors. The Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana also plays a vital role in responding to emergencies that impact the communities we serve. Together, as a hunger-relief network, we serve over 42,600 people and distribute over 4 million pounds of food annually.
Our mission is to battle hunger and improve the wellness of our community by securing food and providing it to partner agencies who feed the hungry; fostering public awareness; and managing direct distribution programs. Our vision is a hunger free Northeast Louisiana.
The Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana serves the following 12 parish region: Caldwell; East Carroll; Franklin; Jackson; Lincoln; Madison; Morehouse; Ouachita; Richland; Tensas; Union; and West Carroll.
